October is almost over and my year is winding down.

Hard to believe that We are almost hitting November and the end of year. We had a late Indian Summer, but finally the leaves are turning and I am setting up for winter. I finished my 12th and final coffee shop painting of 2023...the Ta'Bogo Coffee shop in the East End area of Cincinnati. I am currently in the process of framing those paintings, and I will start looking for a Coffee Shop that would like to show them. I may display some in the Forest Park Library in December, assuming the Library is agreeable (I've shown painting there in the past)
As the year concludes my next project is looking like it will be on illustrations for a book.

Sept. 11th and I haven't gotten much done
Monday, September 11. 2023
At this point, I haven't done that much with my website. Late summer and I've been distracted with some other things for the most part. I'm working on my Coffee houses of Cincinnati Paintings, and I completed the 11th painting....The Highland House. I just started sketching out #12, which is the last in the series.
On the Website, I still need to rearrange the galleries, and all some change some coding to add some area to describe each gallery. I have to create pics for all the paintings I haven't listed yet. Then I will add some more to the galleries and Square Shop page.
The point being, if you have stumbled upon this web site at this stage...thanks for looking and apologies that it is not really finished.

Working on my gallery categories
Tuesday, August 22. 2023
The gallery section is not actually finished at this point. I am adding some artwork and revising the categories. That is my project at the moment. I am not finished with the Square Page either...but at least for the moment it is functional.
Thanks to all who have viewed the site so far.

Hello. Still in setup stage of this website. Trying to find all the kinks, etc. I will probably be redesigning the galleries and stuff and changing the gallery names. I still have quite a few works to add.
Meanwhile, I created a Square webpage and listed some of the prints I have created from the series of paintings I've been doing during 2023, Coffee Houses of Cincinnati.
So between trying to setup the website (I started with a templated HTML website, then I started modifying the pages to suit my purpose), figure out how this blog software works, and setting up a page on Square....I've been busy this week.
The positive is that for the most part...I have a website, I have a sales page, I have a blog. So..I'm on my way!

On Creating This Website
Monday, August 14. 2023
Hello to all! This is the first post on my new Website's blog page. I decided to add this page to possibly create a running commentary on the work I'm doing. It was a long road to get here. I was an IT professional for many years, and in 2018 my job was outsourced overseas. I made the choice to enjoy a little time off, which before I knew it, butted up against something called the Covid Pandemic. In the middle of that, I decided to go back to an old hobby I had put down for years, painting. I started on a series of paintings. I found a group called "The Cincinnati Creative Society" which met monthly and people there discussed their creative outlets. I enjoyed seeing other's works, and showing my efforts to them.
At the Creative Society meetings, I met other people who enjoyed marketing their art work as a hobby. I started making prints from paintings, and it gave others a way to buy my original artwork at an affordable price. That pushed me into creating a website where I could display my work and add a page where people could actually purchase the prints. To realize that something you created is hanging on the wall of someone's home is really an honor for me.
So I decided to add this blog to my Website, and as I work on things, I will comment on the work I'm doing, maybe discuss the efforts and show some works in progress; and, maybe I'll talk about other topics that seem important at the time.
Thanks for looking at this website, and this blog. I hope you visit often.
